Deborah Modé

Although she was born in the United States, her first language was Spanish.  Her parents are immigrants from the Dominican Republic which is part of a small island with a big heart.  She was able to maintain her primary language (Spanish) while learning English since being enrolled in kindergarten. As a bilingual therapist she understands the process of second language acquisition and the significance of maintaining one's native language.  At the same time she understands that effective and efficient communication is essential for connection and success in all aspects of life.
